Although we have no intention of making tordol.com a "pay to play" site, we do want to reward those of you that wish to donate to the cause. These rewards will include a bunch of exciting new capabilities! Here are a few:

A few people have e-mailed us and asked what makes this site special, and if we are trying to compete with other similar sites.

Although there are other Truth Or Dare sites available, many of these are structured as either a pure archive of questions and dares, or as a web page community with forums. I also found more than a few sites that plagiarize each other, spam you with spyware and porn banners, or contain such a hodgepodge of questions, dares, and thinly veiled personal ads, that no single group of players could ever actually play.

Tordol is an online game, not simply an archive. We don't have forums, and we never will. I also want you to know that any advertising on Tordol will be spyware and pop-up free, and any adult ads will be strictly limited to adult content areas. Since the submissions to our site are well categorized, we can also provide a fun game for groups of many different ages and interests without questions or dares that are "over the top" or inappropriate for your interests.

We also have a focus on quality. You may notice that the archive grows slowly, and has far fewer entries than other sites. That's because we review, edit, and enhance all submissions to ensure the quality of the site remains high. We shy away from boring questions or tired dares, and instead develop content that keeps the entire group interested and engaged. We also subscribe to a copyright enforcement service to monitor and pursue infringement of our material.

Our goal is not to be the biggest Truth or Dare site, but to be the premier resource for questions and dares on the net. It's a win-win for everyone! Already have a great community or forum dedicated to truth or dare? Soon you will be able to add your own tordol plug-in module, complete with custom question lists and mixers, into your existing web site. We also have an exciting list of administrative features such as question sharing, ip bans, leech detection, content subscription lists, full user management, and the XML standard for providing truth or dare content to existing sites.

The domain name went live yesterday. Now you can spread the site address around and help the site grow from more and more quality submissions.

For the next few weeks the staff will begin adding content for many of the group, environment, and rating categories. There will undoubtedly be "gaps" in the questions and dares for a few months, so please be patient as we continue to expand and build the database.

After almost a week of coding here and there, Truth or Dare Online V 1.0 is completed.

This site is an online remake of the classic party game, but with a twist. Now you can access a wealth of ever growing, quality "Truth or Dare" questions, all in one spot! We've also included some fun surprises.

For the first few weeks, we will be adding content at a furious pace. Please be patient, or better yet, help us out by submitting your funniest, wildest, best truth or dare questions!

It is our hope that TORDOL will become our "gift" to internet culture. We hope you enjoy it.
